I’m Teisha Lowry — a photographer, filmmaker & performer creating cinematic, emotionally resonant imagery for actors, models & purpose-driven brands. With over 25 years’ experience across the global modelling & film industries, from international campaigns to feature films, my time in front of the camera deeply informs my work behind it — giving me an intuitive understanding of movement, presence & how to draw out something real.
I specialise in actor portraiture, model portfolios & visual storytelling for brands, particularly those grounded in sustainability & ethical practice. My work spans stills, web imagery & short scripted films, often produced with a small, trusted crew or independently. I frequently carry projects from concept through to styling, directing, editing & colour grading, ensuring a cohesive & intentional visual language throughout.
I’m known for creating a calm, collaborative environment where people feel at ease — allowing honest, natural & compelling moments to emerge. My approach balances a refined, editorial sensibility with a focus on authenticity & emotional depth.
Born to Ukrainian & German refugees & raised in regional Western Australia, I grew up between cultures & landscapes — a perspective that continues to shape my work. Themes of belonging, resilience & identity run quietly through what I create, expressed through atmosphere, gesture & light rather than overt narrative.
Alongside my creative practice, I’m deeply committed to ethical storytelling & sustainability. I’m a long-standing ambassador for Borneo Orangutan Survival Australia, using my work & platform to support conservation & raise awareness for causes I genuinely care about.
Based north of Hamburg — often elsewhere.
